Data protection

I. General

You can use this website without providing personal data, with the exception of our password-protected area. When you visit the various pages of our website, our server will merely be sent access data (e.g. your browser type and the time of your visit). These access data do not contain any personal data and cannot be used to draw any conclusions as to an identifiable person. In particular, the access data are not used to create usage profiles. They merely serve to optimise the use of our website and allow us to carry out statistical evaluations.

II. Use of personal data

We will only use personal data if you provide them to us voluntarily. This is necessary if you wish to subscribe to our newsletter or if you want to book a hotel room or other related service.

Personal data for the use of the aforementioned services shall only be collected to the extent necessary for the purposes of executing the contract or rendering the service.

IV. Logging into the password-protected area

In the password-protected area, which can be found at, registered users can manage and/or update their profile data, manage and/or change and/or terminate their newsletter subscription and – if participating in the Ringhotels card scheme – view their total collected points and/or redeem the points for prizes.

You are required to log in to access the protected area. If you have not yet registered, you can register by clicking on 'Sign up' and choosing a password. After you register, we will send you an e-mail with an activation link. After you activate your account by clicking on the activation link, you will be able to access the protected area. When you log in again, you will be required to enter your username and password.

During the registration process we will ask you for personal data such as your name, surname, address and e-mail address, as well as other voluntary information. If necessary, in the password-protected area you can update and/or delete the information you provided at any time. If you delete any information that was marked as mandatory during the registration process, you will no longer be able to access the password-protected area.

V. Newsletter

On our website, you can opt to subscribe to our newsletter. You will be required to provide personal data (your name and e-mail address) in order to receive the newsletter. We will not send you our newsletter without your express consent. After subscribing, you will receive an e-mail confirmation containing a link, which you need to click in order to complete your subscription to our newsletter. Only then will you receive the newsletter.

You can unsubscribe from our newsletter by e-mail or by clicking the 'Unsubscribe' link in the newsletter itself at any time.

VI. Information, changes and cancellations

At any time, you can request free information on the personal data we have stored about you.
